For those of you who were hoping to catch Spank Rock this past weekend, but got stuck in the "I Love Spicy Pie" line waiting for pizza, there's an explanation. Hours before his scheduled Coachella set, Naeem "Spank Rock" Juwan was rushed to an emergency room where he "underwent surgery for a serious sudden ailment," according to Pitchfork. No details regarding the cause of the ailment have been released.

This Friday's gig has been canceled while Juwan recovers in a Palm Springs hospital. The remaining dates are, reportedly, still on. We wish Spank a safe and speedy recovery.
