Foreign Born Sign to Secretly Canadian

Foreign Born.jpgAfter a short-lived career (one album) on Dim Mak, Los Angeles band Foreign Born will finally get the push its music deserves. According to a recent press release, the group will release its Secretly Canadian debut, Person to Person, in February of 2009. This follows the band's strong 2007 debut, On The Wing Now.

Person to Person will, reportedly, feature fifteen tracks out of a pool of twenty-two. These songs "incorporate themes of wanderlust, loneliness amidst a teeming city, and concern over the landscape changing around them."

When asked to describe the feeling of signing to Secretly Canadian, singer/guitarist Matt W. Popieluch was quoted as saying, "Seriously bitchin', on a number of levels." That's totally radical.
