I was just talking about the power of Mogwai with a co-worker and, ta-da ... the 'Young Team' is touring and releasing new material. The group's forthcoming album, The Hawk Is Howling, drops September 23 on Matador. Before that, they'll release the Batcat EP, featuring 13th Floor Elevators frontman Roky Erickson on "Devil Rides," according to a report from NME via Pitchfork.

Batcat comes on CD, 12" and digitally September 8 in the UK and on 12" vinyl and digitally a day later in the U.S. Check out the track list below:
