Coldplay - who will return with their first album in three years, Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends, on June 16 - debuted the first video from it today.

The clip for "Violet Hill" is very different from the one that was taken down earlier this morning by the band. Coldplay point your attention to a few glaring downers in our culture: President George Bush, and the never-ending war in Iraq. A few seconds of the band appear, but this video is concerned with more important matters.
