Long Beach's Cold War Kids sure know how to emote bluesy-southern rock, and that's exactly what they're going to do on the follow-up to 2006's Robbers and Cowards. The quartet has announced details of its highly anticipated sophomore album, Loyalty to Loyalty. The thirteen-track disc drops on an unknown date in September through Downtown Recordings.

According to a recent press release, the Kids created "something of a masterpiece ... brimming with the poignant, intimate narratives and brooding atmospherics they're famed for." That's a tall order. Check out the details below:
