Mercury Rev's "Senses on Fire" doesn't ignite my 'senses' like I was hoping it would, but it's a clear indication that Snowflake Midnight is different, and, hopefully, better than 2005's Secret Migration. 

The track bubbles up from an ambient synth melody; revealing an electronic-based rhythm, soaring guitar leads, and a repetitive, "My senses are on fire," vocal line. Jonathan Donahue then declares, "Ready or not, here I come."

I was born ready dude.
