Neil Halstead's solo career is taking off, and he's still got the awesome Mojave 3 to take care of. The former Slowdive frontman talks to Exclaim about the idea of reuniting his former band:

"I just can't really see the point," stated Halstead. "It just doesn't appeal to me. I don't think it's something I would want to do. I think the fact that we did three records, there's a start, a middle and an end. I guess for the Valentines, if they make another record it makes sense to me. But if not, it is nostalgia and it's just about money. I'm not really into that ..."

As previously reported, Halstead will release his sophomore solo disc Oh! Mighty Engine on July 29 in the U.S. through Jack Johnson's Brushfire imprint. He's also got a few dates lined up next month in Canada:
