Wow. The new Jim Fairchild material makes his first All Smiles debut sound miniature and, almost, lifeless when compared to a fraction of the triumphant chorus on "Our Final Roles as Birds."

There's no news just yet on the forthcoming date for Fairchild's sophomore release, or a label for that matter, but these new songs, including "The Ones I Want to Live," sound massive and spacious. According to his MySpace page, the new album title is For the Getting and Not Letting Go.
